Large eagle with outstretched wings, head on the left, cutting the legend at 12 o'clock, the talons on the quarterly shield of Bavarian-Palatinate to dexter and on the Luxembourgish shield to the lion crawling to the left on a field of five pieces sinister. The two crowns divide the legend. Legend between two pearled circles.
Reverse
Leafy, triple-veined, long cross, dividing the legend and surrounded by a double-veined quadrilobe, decorated with outward-angled leaves and rosettes with re-entrant angles. Legend between two pearled circles.
